This organization was a dream of Late Shri Shyamal Chandra Bagchi. After his untimely demise in 1993, his daughters Dr. Sumona Bagchi and Suparna Bagchi under the able guidance of their mother Late Smt. Keya Bagchi carried forward the project in his name. Today, S.C. Bagchi Arogya Sadan Pvt. Ltd. (SCBAS) is a dependable healthcare organization in the district of Howrah. The journey started on the 14th of April 1995, with just the pathology lab. Gradually the scope of services kept on widening and culminated in the establishment of the Nursing Home with 10 beds at the stroke of the new millennium.

 

The health institution, popularly referred to as "Bagchi Nursing Home"in the locality, has today expanded its services to include Critical Care, Dialysis, Super-Speciality, Consultations & Procedures, Microsurgery and an array of Diagnostic Services to complement the treatment plan. The organization is growing from strength-to-strength with an indigenous staff-force. The quality assurance and homely approach towards medical care at an affordable rate highlights the core values of our organization. SCBAS aims to continue with our growth, development and infrastructural expansion so as to one day facilitate an all-inclusive treatment under one roof without compromising on what makes us unique.
